The song of farewell swelled, and the sentiment of parting spread. In the afternoon of June 8^th, the 2023 Graduation Ceremony of the School of Stomatology Lanzhou University was held in Lecture Hall of the Student Activity Center of Chengguan Campus. The leaders of the School / Hospital, representatives of teachers, medical and nursing representatives, graduates' master teachers, counselors, representatives of student parents, and 2023 graduates attended the ceremony.

On the red carpet, they put flowers on their chests, either handsome or charming. Flowers and ribbons were flying in the air, and teachers and graduates walked across the red carpet to write their names in front of the signature wall, marking their last page at the school. The teachers left messages on the background board, wishing the students a bright future and infinite glory.

 

The ceremony Began with the Solemn National Anthem

In the student recognition session, attending teachers presented certificates of commendation to the outstanding graduates who had won various awards, and praised them for their study and work at school. The golden certificates recorded the transformation of the students at school, and their bright smiles were engraved with their unremitting efforts and continuous development.

 

In the speech, Prof. Fan Zengjie, a representative of the School, expressed his recognition of the achievements for the 2023 graduates who are about to embark on a new journey during their undergraduate or master's degree, and sent best wishes to all graduates and their parents. He encouraged the graduates to truly achieve "Perfection, Sincerity, Goodness and Beauty" in their future study, work and life. He hopes that the future doctors would stick to the cultivation and perseverance of medical ethics, win the respect of patients with their noble personality and exquisite medical skills, deliver care and services to patients with kindness and benevolence, and pass on the conscience and warmth of the people of School of Stomatology, LZU in the cause of safeguarding people's health.

 

 

Undergraduate representative Wang Lijie and postgraduate representative Lu Jiyuan delivered speeches respectively. The two students reminisced about their experiences during their studies at Lanzhou University, expressing gratitude for the careful cultivation and guidance from the School and all teachers, and also sending best wishes for the future development of the School and the University.

Zhao Yuan, Fan Zengjie, and Pang Yunqing, Received the "Most Popular Teacher Award" from Students. 

In his speech, President Liu Bin reviewed a series of achievements made by the 2023 graduates at the School of Stomatology, encouraged students to always believe in themselves in life, hoped that students would pay back to our country, the society and the School when they have some achievement, and sincerely wished all graduates to persevere, work hard, and courageously move forward on the different life tracks, uphold the principle of Sincerity, Kindness, and Beauty” of  the School of Stomatology, LZU in their respective positions.

 

Under the leadership of Vice Dean Professor Zhao Yuan, the teachers and students once again solemnly reviewed the oath of medical students. It is hoped that every medical student can remember the oath of being a medical student and shoulder the responsibility, commitment and mission as a dentist.

 

 

At the end of the ceremony, all the graduates joined in a chorus of 'My Deskmate', and all love, sentiment, and nostalgia turned into the blessings for departure.
